One hand at his chin, one in his pocket, Julius Peppers thought about the latest question about his age for a brief moment. He now has two interceptions returned for touchdowns this season. This is precisely why he wanted to be a 3-4 outside linebacker, yes. But Peppers was also 3-4, as in 34 years old. There are grays sprouting in his hair, his beard. Whether he still had big-play ability at his age was a very real unknown heading into this season.
