UNC Field Hockey's Season Ends In Final Four Penalty Shootout

The top-ranked North Carolina field hockey team ended the 2014 season Friday afternoon with a 3-2 loss to No. 4 Syracuse in an NCAA semifinasl game at the University of Maryland’s Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex. For the second year in a row, UNC was eliminated in a penalty shootout following 70 minutes of regulation and two 15-minute overtime periods.
