UNC will face Rutgers in Detroit

For the second year in a row, the North Carolina football team will finish its season at a bowl game. UNC will head to the Motor City as a part of the inaugural Quick Lane Bowl at Detroit's Ford Field to face Big Ten opponent Rutgers on Dec. 26 (4:30 p.m., ESPN). The Quick Lane Bowl, hosted at the previous site of the Little Caesar's Bowl and the Motor City Bowl, is one of five new bowls this season.
