No. 3 Diamond Heels Thump Davidson, 28-3

No. 3 North Carolina scored 11 runs in the second inning and then bettered that total with 12 in the third in a 28-3 win over visiting Davidson Wednesday at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels' 28 runs equaled the fifth most in school history and were the most since a 31-15 win at Jacksonville Feb. 20, 1981. (Tar Heel Blue)
