UNC baseball signee Josh Ladowski named to Shrine Bowl

Less than two weeks ago, Josh Ladowski thought his high school football days were over. The Lake Norman High quarterback was already deep into his training regimen for baseball season. Yet there was Ladowski at Spartanburg High School on Wednesday, throwing and running with the football like he had never lost a beat. Ladowski, the N.C. Gatorade player of the year, was a late addition to the North Carolina roster for the 78th annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas game, to be played Saturday at Wofford College’s Gibbs Stadium.
