UNC defense eager for "new beginning" against Rutgers

There obviously are a lot of questions surrounding the Quick Lane Bowl matchup between North Carolina and Rutgers on Friday, but there probably isn’t a bigger question than how big of an impact the changes UNC has made on defense will impact the game. Monday’s first practice on the Ford Field turf was about starting fresh and trying to rectify UNC’s biggest wart this season.
