Born in Japan and raised all over the United States, Jack Tabb's New Jersey roots don't run too deep.
But the opportunity to play against Rutgers football in the final game of his collegiate career on Dec. 26 in the Quick Lane Bowl is something that North Carolina's senior tight end sees as a fitting end to a journey that began when he started drawing scholarship attention at Red Bank Catholic High School.
