Jaylen Brown typifies modern national basketball recruit
Posted Jan 2, 2015
A walking basketball showcase willing to sign autographs and careful with his words – Jaylen Brown has come to typify the modern national basketball recruit, whose on-court performance is combined with a carefully constructed image. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just the way elite basketball recruits are handled these days. Brown, a member of the 2014 U18 National Team, has already won a gold medal and is likely to participate in the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship, which takes place in Greece.
