Dascenzo: Call this one what it was -- a total Tar Heels collapse


Sunday was a nightmare for North Carolina's basketball team. Looking so poised for a spot in the Final Four, UNC started putting up bricks from the perimeter and began playing horrific and, at times, lazy defense Sunday against Georgetown. That well-known UNC depth evaporated and that talent disappeared, and as fast as you could say "Georgetown's Hoyas are going to win" which they did 96-84 in overtime. (Durham Herald-Sun)
