UNC baseball signee Josh Ladowski named NC football player of the year

Lake Norman’s Josh Ladowski is The Associated Press high school football player of the year for North Carolina. The senior quarterback set a state single-season record with 5,647 yards of total offense while leading his team to the Class 4AA semifinals. Ladowski – who was also named the Gatorade player of the year for North Carolina – threw for 3,628 yards and 43 TDs, then ran for 2,019 yards and 34 TDs. Ladowski has signed to play baseball at North Carolina.
