Theo Pinson shines in extended stint against Irish
Posted Jan 6, 2015
With 12:50 left and North Carolina trailing by double digits against Notre Dame, coach Roy Williams replaced center Joel James with 6-foot-6 wing Theo Pinson. Pinson stayed in the game as part of a smaller, one-post lineup until only 18.6 seconds remained in a 71-70 loss to the Fighting Irish on Monday. He had his most productive outing as a freshman during that extended stint.
