UNC checks on 2016 four-star wing Maverick Rowan

North Carolina assistant Hubert Davis watched 2016 four-star Maverick Rowan of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons High School on Thursday night according to recruiting analyst Cory Evans. A 6-7 200-pound wing scorer, Rowan decommitted from Pittsburgh when he moved down to Florida this season. He is ranked No. 45 in the 247Sports Composite. Florida, Louisville, N.C. State and others have been heavily involved in his recruitment since decommitting.
