Jackson, Tar Heels ready to run at Wake Forest

The Tar Heels will be in Winston-Salem Wednesday evening to run, hopefully, against Wake Forest (7 p.m., ESPN2). The Demon Deacons aren’t doing much better in the ACC than Virginia Tech. The Hokies are 0-4 in the league. Wake Forest is 1-4 in the ACC but have the whole Tobacco Road thing going on. That turf war could be enough to motivate the Tar Heels, if their extra day of practice didn’t. (Durham Herald-Sun)
