Heels claw back from 16-point deficit in East semi


UNC spent the entire season ranked among the nation's first eight men's college basketball teams. Now the Tar Heels find themselves among the last eight -- as in one of the last eight teams still alive in the NCAA Tournament. UNC rallied from a 16-point deficit to defeat No. 5 seed Southern California 74-64 on Friday night, reaching the Elite Eight from the NCAA Tournament's East Regional. (Durham Herald-Sun)
