Are the Tar Heels good enough to win the ACC?

Their sixth straight win, all in the ACC, left the 13th-ranked Tar Heels tied for second place in the league with No. 8 Notre Dame, both teams 1/2-game behind No. 2 Virginia. Is UNC good enough to win its 30th ACC regular-season championship as the 15 teams near the halfway mark of the 18-game league schedule? Two stern tests in an upcoming three-game stretch will help answer that question.
