Carolina-Georgia Football Series Notes


Carolina will play in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game for the second time in 2016. UNC’s last appearance was a 30-24 loss to LSU in 2010. Carolina and Georgia have met 30 times with the Bulldogs holding a 16-12-2 advantage. The first seven games of the series came were played at neutral sites in Atlanta, Macon and Raleigh. The two teams were original members of the Southern Conference in 1921. (GoHeels.com)
