Dean’s way is the right way


In 1982, the NCAA had 22 watches and UNC had 23 team members. David Hart, as the youngest manager, was left out. Arriving back in Chapel Hill, an assistant coach asked David to go see Coach Smith. When David found him, Coach Smith told him how much he appreciated his hard work and gave David his national championship watch. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
