UNC women's hoops commitment Destinee Walker named Florida 4A Player of Year


Lake Highland's Destinee Walker can add another accolade to her name: Florida Association of Basketball Coaches Class 4A player of the year. Walker, a North Carolina signee who also was named a McDonald's All-American, among other honors, averaged 25 points per game as she led the Highlanders (29-2) to a state title. (Orlando Sentinel)
