New coaches aim to improve UNC defense

If North Carolina’s defensive backs start feeling a bit bored during spring practices, then new coach Charlton Warren is doing his job. For Warren, drilling in the fundamentals and basic defensive set is the first priority he has to tackle in during the spring season. “We’re taking it slow,” said Warren, who previously coached at Nebraska and Air Force before landing in Chapel Hill.
