Syracuse AD out; Jim Boeheim to retire after three more seasons

Daryl Gross is out as Syracuse's athletic director, and the school has announced Jim Boeheim will retire as its men's basketball coach after three more seasons. This means Boeheim is expected to be gone following the 2017-18 campaign. "Coach Boeheim intends to retire as head coach in three years," said Syracuse chancellor Kent Syverud. "His goal in making this decision and announcement now is to bring certainty to the team and program in the coming years." (CBS Sports)
