Despite being knocked out by Notre Dame in the ACC tournament semifinals, Duke held on to a No. 1 seed and will be opening the NCAA tournament in Charlotte, N.C., in the South Region. This corner of the bracket has several interesting stories, especially the inclusion of UCLA, the presence of a couple dangerous double-digit seeds and Gonzaga, in the No. 1 discussion until its late-season loss against BYU, as the region's No. 2 seed.
