When No. 5 seed Arkansas beat No. 12 seed Wofford late Thursday night, the common notion was that North Carolina actually caught a break by drawing the higher-rated team. That train of thought had little to do with talent — the Razorbacks have the SEC Player of the Year and a roster more gifted than Wofford’s from the top down. It was all about the pace the two teams prefer to play.
