Tar Heels trying to make this year’s NCAA stay ‘sweeter’ than their recent past

There was once a time in which the North Carolina basketball team and the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament were mutually exclusive. The Tar Heels won at least two games and advanced to the second week of their sport’s signature event for 13 straight seasons between 1981-93.
