The Colonels are cooking: EKU players, coaches know they face uphill battle

Eastern Kentucky coach Jeff Neubauer was a little bit reluctant to talk about it Wednesday. He just didn't think UNC fans would need any extra inspiration. But one of the best days of his life happened just eight miles from the Tar Heels' campus. On Dec. 1, 1993, when he was an assistant coach at The Citadel, after a morning shootaround he asked his sweetheart Karen Feret to marry him. And she said yes. (Durham Herald-Sun)
