UNC Defense Buckles Down In Spring Scrimmage


North Carolina closed its spring practice season at Rocky River High School on Saturday, and it was the defense that won the day in the third and final scrimmage opportunity. UNC’s defense, which has been tasked with learning ’s new 4-3 scheme, delivered hard hits, sure-handed tackles and physical pass breakups in holding the offense to just one touchdown in its first 10 situational possessions.
