ACC final draws big tv ratings
The ACC Tournament championship game on Sunday between N.C. State and UNC drew whopping ratings in the Triangle, according to researcher Gerald Belton. According to his figures, the average quarter-hour ratings during the game Sunday were 22.0 with a 45 share, which represents 221,000 households. That's a huge number for this market, on par with what a highly anticipated Duke-Carolina basketball game would draw. (Raleigh News & Observer)
