Heels back on top

North Carolina rained free throws on N.C. State's improbable parade into the ACC championship game, and in doing so broke its own title drought with yesterday's 89-80 victory at the St. Pete Times Forum. Nailing 23 of 24 from the line - including nine of 10 in the final 1:14 - the Tar Heels finally wore down the seemingly indefatigable Wolfpack to clinch its first championship since 1998.
