North Carolina rained free throws on N.C. State's improbable parade into the ACC championship game, and in doing so broke its own title drought with yesterday's 89-80 victory at the St. Pete Times Forum. Nailing 23 of 24 from the line - including nine of 10 in the final 1:14 - the Tar Heels finally wore down the seemingly indefatigable Wolfpack to clinch its first championship since 1998.
