UNC earns championship


With one last dunk, Ty Lawson and the North Carolina men's basketball team punctuated its win against N.C.State, 89-90, and earned its first ACC Tournament championship since 1998. The Tar Heels, the tournament's top seed and ranked eighth nationally, raced away late in the first half, then had to fight off the Wolfpack's hard charge during the final 10 minutes of the game to hold on.
