FSU trustees concerned with ACC's place among Power 5 conferences
Posted Apr 24, 2015
Florida State went undefeated in the 2014 regular season and edged out Georgia Tech, a team that would go on to beat Mississippi State in the Orange and bowl and finish in the Top 10, in the ACC championship game but entered the College Football Playoff as the No. 3 team in the country. That an undefeated Seminoles team would be slotted behind Alabama and Oregon has become a point for FSU fans who believe being in the ACC makes it tougher to earn respect on a national level.
