ACC victory gives UNC No. 1 seed; Devils sixth in the West

UNC already has won a tournament as a No. 1 seed. Now, the Tar Heels will get a chance to do it again. UNC, which defeated N.C. State 89-80 in the ACC Tournament final Sunday, has earned the No. 1 seed in the East Regional for the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels begin their title quest in Winston-Salem on Thursday against No. 16 seed Eastern Kentucky, champion of the Ohio Valley Conference. (Durham Herald-Sun)
