Kenny Williams, the final piece for a championship run
Posted May 4, 2015
When 2015 shooting guard Kenny Williams committed to UNC on Saturday, he became the final piece of a 2015-2016 Tar Heel squad poised to make a championship run. Roy Williams and his staff went hard after top five small forwards Brandon Ingram (Duke) and Jaylen Brown (Cal), but those prospect chose to compete elsewhere. Instead UNC grabbed Williams after he was released from his VCU letter-of-intent following Shaka Smart's decision to leave Richmond for the Texas job.
