The Las Vegas Dealers, a proposed semi-pro team, made headlines last week when owner Cerruti Brown told Fox 5 News that his prospective squad would pay up to $700,000 to poach McDonald's All-American players and the top college and "free agent" talents. It was a bold assertion from an unknown name in the sports world. Or the business world. Any world, really. (Sporting News)
