Tar Heels To Face Maryland In Big Ten/ACC Challenge

The University of North Carolina men’s basketball team will play the University of Maryland next year for the 180th time, but the first time since the Terrapins joined the Big Ten Conference, when the teams meet in the Smith Center in the 17th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The December 1st meeting is the only top-five matchup in the 2015 Challenge, according to ESPN’s preseason rankings that have UNC No. 2 and Maryland No. 4.
