Guthridge touch helped make Kris Lang the player he remains today

I’m certain Kris Lang shed a tear on Wednesday when he heard the news of former UNC basketball coach Bill Guthridge’s death. It’s because in many ways, Guthridge’s teaching methods live on through Lang’s now 13-year professional career. Since Lang is in Venezuela playing for his current team Cocodrilos de Caracas – they had a game Saturday night – he was unable to be reached for comment.
