5. Marquise Williams, North Carolina: In his first full season as a starter, Williams engineered an offense that put up 429.8 yards and 33.2 points per game. He threw for 3,068 yards, 21 touchdowns and 9 interceptions, completing 63.1 percent of his passes. He also finished as the team’s leading rusher (for the second consecutive season), registering 193 carries for 788 yards and 13 scores.
