UNC 73, Florida State 58


North Carolina had a relatively easy time today in its ACC Tournament opener, as it beat Florida State 73-58. The Tar Heels, the top seed in the tournament, advanced to Saturday's semifinals against Boston College. North Carolina led 36-26 at halftime, then pushed the lead up early in the second half and led by as many as 20. (Winston-Salem Journal)
