North Carolina aims to curb streak

North Carolina, who will face No. 9 Florida State at noon today, elected to practice in Chapel Hill before flying to Tampa on Thursday. UNC blew Florida State out, 84-58 on Jan. 7. The Tar Heels have won 15 ACC Tournament titles, second most in league history. North Carolina has not cut down the ACC's nets since 1998. The last time the Tar Heels won the ACC Tournament as a No. 1 seed was in 1982. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
