Previewing Florida State

Top seed UNC opens its ACC Tournament play Friday against 9th-seeded Florida State, who edged Clemson on Thursday and needs a win over UNC for a better shot at making the Big Dance. Tip-off in Tampa is set for noon on Raycom-LFN and ESPN2. Florida State traveled to Chapel Hill on Jan. 7. The Tar Heels took a six-point lead into halftime and then turned the game into a rout in the second half for an 84-58 final score. (Inside Carolina)
