Blue Devils' Laettner: 'I was acting like a maniac a little bit'

Duke star Christian Laettner doesn't recall the details, just his feelings as he left the court at the Charlotte Coliseum on March 10, 1991, after a loss to archrival UNC in the ACC tournament finale. "I just remember being really mad because I thought we were better than them," he said. Yeah, not so much on that day. The No. 7 Tar Heels won in a blowout, 96-74, against the No. 6 Blue Devils. And Laettner didn't take it well. (St. Petersburg Times)
