Brandan Wright reaches out for rookie of year

Brandan Wright's 7-4 wingspan helps him shoot over taller opponents, block shots and come up with steals. It also helped him grab the award for ACC Rookie of the Year. Wright became the eighth North Carolina men's basketball player to win the award, earning 49 of a possible 106 votes from members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. (Durham Herald-Sun)
