Dennis Smith Jr. shines at Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Series event


Fayetteville point guard Jr., a rising senior at Trinity Christian School, is playing for North Carolina's Team Loaded at the final Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Series stop in Atlanta. In a 61-57 victory against Stackhouse Elite Uplay on Wednesday, Smith had 18 points, five assists, and three rebounds in 29 minutes. Smith played in front of coaches from Duke, UNC, NC State, and Louisville. Edrice Adebayo, another highly rated recruit in the Class of 2016, had 14 points and 12 rebounds. (Fayetteville Observer)
