Hansbrough bloodied in 86-72 win

Given two unexpected openings over the weekend, North Carolina barged on through the door yesterday to tie Virginia for the ACC regular-season championship. UNC downed Duke 86-72 in the Smith Center, leading for the last 38:04. The finish proved unsettling, however, when a hard foul by Gerald Henderson of Duke knocked Tyler Hansbrough of UNC to the floor and drew blood with 14.5 seconds left. (Winston-Salem Journal)
