Ivory Latta Lifts Tar Heels To Third Straight ACC Crown

Ivory Latta scored 20 points to lift second-ranked North Carolina to its third straight ACC tournament championship with a 60-54 win over No. 24 N.C. State Sunday afternoon. Latta was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player for the third year in a row. The win avenged a loss to the Wolfpack two weeks ago and also ended their uplifting run through the ACC tournament after the emotional return of head coach Kay Yow. (All Headline News)
