UNC offers Maryland shooting guard Markelle Fultz

North Carolina has offered class of 2016 shooting guard Markelle Fultz (Hyattsville, MD/DeMatha Catholic), Fultz confirmed to 247Sports' Jerry Meyer on Tuesday afternoon. The 6-foot-4, 170-prospect has offers from Arizona, Kansas, Ohio State, Kentucky, and Louisville, among others. Fultz is a 247Sports Composite five-star prospect. He is ranked as the No. 5 shooting guard and No. 21 overall prospect in the 2016 class.
