Dwight Jones Cleared

InsideCarolina.com has learned that Dwight Jones has been cleared by the NCAA to transfer to North Carolina and is scheduled to depart for N.C. on Saturday evening. “He is cleared,” Burlington (N.C.) Cummings assistant coach and Jones confidant Jay Perdue told Inside Carolina on Friday morning. “His waiver went through, so [the NCAA] deems him eligible.” The waiver means he will not have to sit out a year upon transferring.
