From Chapel Hill to the World Games

On July 25, Tim Taft, MD, will be on the field at the Los Angeles Coliseum for the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics World Games. It’s a big stage. An iconic venue. First Lady Michelle Obama is expected to be in attendance. Stevie Wonder will perform. But, in a career that spans four decades, Taft, Max N. Novich Professor of Orthopaedics, is used to big stages and iconic venues.
