Larry Brown denies wrongdoing in SMU academic case vs. the NCAA

Sources confirmed to CBSSports.com on Thursday a report from Yahoo Sports that states SMU's basketball program has met with the NCAA's Committee on Infractions regarding allegations the program violated NCAA rules under the current tenure of coach Larry Brown. "Larry is denying any wrongdoing," a source told CBSSports.com. SMU's in-person encounter with the NCAA happened in June.
