North Carolina's baseball team is in its second week as the No. 1 team in the nation according Baseball America and also picked up another top billing Wednesday when it earned the No. 1 spot when USA Today re-ranked its preseason top 25 based on the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate (APR). The APR of the Tar Heel baseball team of 988 topped the charts, 14 points ahead of No. 2 Georgia Tech.
