Dennis Smith Jr. performing well at adidas Nations Global event in California

Playing for Team Wall at the adidas Nations Global event in Garden Grove, California, Fayetteville's Dennis Smith Jr. averaged 18.5 points, 7.8 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.3 steals as his squad went 3-1 in pool play. He shot 29-for-53 from the field (54.7 percent) in those four games. Team Wall is scheduled to face Team Lillard in the opening round of bracket play late Sunday night. UNC recruit Jalek Felton, a Class of 2017 point guard, recorded three points and one assist for Team Noah.
