Knee injury sidelines Dennis Smith Jr. in adidas Nations Global semifinal victory


Fayetteville's Jr. and his Team Wall squad beat Team Lillard 117-73 on Sunday to advance to the championship game of the adidas Nations Global event in California, but Smith had to leave the gym on crutches after suffering an unspecified left knee injury in the semifinal victory. Smith, the top-ranked point guard in the Class of 2016, was limited to 11 minutes against Team Lillard. He had six points, seven assists and five rebounds. (Fayetteville Observer)
